Microunit es un artista misterioso, no sabemos si de lejos o cerca, ya que ha decidido no revelarnos su identidad, simplemente mandó su música en forma de este trabajo titulado "Texture Readings" con instrucciones de publicarlo. En un primer acercamiento se escuchan las referencias al ambient, drone y noise pero las 4 piezas de este EP exploran algo aún más profundo, aludiendo a una narrativa situada en algún oscuro microcosmos lleno de pequeñas y primordiales señales de vida. Existe una progresión curiosa cuando se corre el EP en orden ya que se escucha una evolución en el sonido que va abriéndose y acomplejándose como la vida que sale de la miasma para formar organismos más grandes. En adición al EP, hemos incluído un remix de club deconstruido por parte de Mama Testa para todos aquellos que descarguen el EP completo.

Microunit is a misterious artist. We do not know as of yet if he's close or far as he's decided to keep his identity secret because he has simply sent this "Texture Readings" EP with the only instruction of having it published. In a first listen, the references are clearly driven towards ambient, drones and noise but the artists is trying to comunicate something more profound, aluding to a narrative situated in some dark microcosm full of small and primordial signs of life. There's a particular progression when you listen to the work from start to finish. The evolution of the sound opens up and becomes more complex, mimiking life rising from the miasm in order to create larger organisms. In addition to the original pieces, we've included a deconstructed club remix by Mama Testa for anyone who downloads the full EP.
